Biography

"He is an eminently worthy young musician of rare intelligence, sensitivity and diligence, who has already received much commendation for his performances, imbued as they are with the scholarship of an enquiring and critical mind."
– Leslie Howard

Aidan Módica is a pianist and scholar whose work explores nineteenth-century repertoire and the traditions of transcription and interpretation. He is currently reading Music at Christ’s College, University of Cambridge, alongside advanced piano studies at the Royal Academy of Music.

Alongside performance, his work is shaped by a strong engagement with musicology and editorial scholarship. He is currently contributing to a complete thematic catalogue of the music of Liszt – the first of its kind – and serves as an editor of The Liszt Society Journal.
